COVID-19 information Denmark
In Denmark, the COVID-19 situation is well under control, and currently more than 75% of the population is fully vaccinated.
Denmark has no restrictions concerning the number of persons gathering.
However; indoor events/venues when more than 200 persons are attending it is necessary to show your corona passport.
You will therefore be asked to show your Corona Passport at the conference.
From 12 November 2021 you will need a valid corona passport when entering the ILF conference venue, and at
• Nightclubs and discos
• Indoor restaurants, cafés etc. (not applicable to take away)
• Indoor events/venues when more than 200 persons are attending
A valid corona passport documents that you have either:
a. been vaccinated
b. previously infected within the last 6 months
c. that you can document a negative COVID-19 test taken within the last 96 hours (PCR) or 72 hours (rapid antigen).
If your documentation for corona passport is from abroad, you are able to use the documentation in Denmark provided it meets the rules for obtaining a Danish corona passport and that it is written in a language that the person inspecting your corona passport understands.
You are generally advised to bring an English translation of your corona passport.
Your foreign corona passport can be documented both electronically and by physical documents.
Travelling to Denmark
You can enter Denmark even from yellow or orange countries if fully vaccinated, with a negative test or if previously tested positive for COVID-19. It is no longer mandatory to wear a facemask in Denmark but even though many restrictions have been abolished, the safe and comfort of the ILF participants is our absolute priority. The venue has integrated all necessary safe and relevant standard procedures and processes as well as specific protocols for essential tasks such as cleaning, food preparation etc.
More than 700 delegates from around the world have already registered and we still hope for more to join.
We remain confident that the ILF 2021 Conference will run safely and successfully and hope that many of us will have the opportunity to meet again, either in presence or online.
We encourage you to register and benefit from an extended scientific programme, engaging industry symposia, a special Patient Day, and social and networking events.
We are well aware that colleagues and patients from some countries have difficulties about travelling to Denmark. It is therefore our pleasure to offer the possibility of online participation at the ILF 2021 Conference.
Furthermore, we are happy to introduce a special reduced price for online attendance for participants from lower-resource countries.
Join us in Copenhagen – in-person or online!
On behalf of the conference organising and scientific committees
